There's no transcript, but here's the youtube text under the video
In this 80th in a series of live discussions with Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying (both PhDs in Biology), we discuss the state of the world through an evolutionary lens. In this episode, we once again discuss the “lab leak” hypothesis for the origins of SARS-CoV2, as this week a letter published in Science has helped it gain yet more credibility in mainstream scientific circles. We then discuss ivermectin, a decades-old drug with a well-established history of efficacy against many human pathogens. What is its mechanism of action? What do Covid case rates in Africa, against a background of on-going prophylactic use of ivermectin for other conditions, suggest about its possible efficacy against Covid? Is it safe for children? Also, what does the FDA require of a new drug or treatment to grant Emergency Use Authorization? Does Merck have an opinion on the matter? How about the media? Finally, we discuss cicadas: when they’re coming back, why they do what they do, and why you’re lucky you’re not infected by Cordyceps fungus.

Watched this particular episode as well as many others of theirs. Very informative.
Excellent podcast series. They know their stuff. I like how the “Dark Horse” emblem is displayed under a desk, peculiar.
They are classic liberals, but are not at all tribal.
They could pick up the pace a bit, but they do approach their topics fairly, and with reason.
Ping to your earlier reply post.
On of a few podcasts that I listen to regularly. I like their take on things, they are not obvious left or right. I see them as liberals who are sick of the authoritarian left that has hijacked the Democrats. I mean, Bret was the guy who escaped Evergreen college...
They both did. They have been very honest about remaining true to their original liberal beliefs, but are at pains to distance themselves from the radical CRT crowd.
Worth listening to, imho.
Thank you.
I didn’t know the below was posted until you pinged me to this thread.
Another very good in-depth podcast interview (separate from their weekly Saturday podcasts)

loosely speaking....more from the point of view of what could possibly go wrong if “everybody” is vaccinated.
Gad Saad has done that silly trick too.
I have listened to a few episodes. The summary, to me: “a vaccine is complicated. An mRNA vaccine is more complicated. These vaccines haven’t been around long. We don’t know if there will be health issues...” They won’t say, don’t take it. In fact they may be vague on if they took it(?)
I am open to correction if the above is incorrect.
