If you run the numbers from the latest CDC Pandemic Planning Scenario document, the IFR is actually up quite a bit higher. Even higher than the previous number of 0.65% across the population. When I last looked, it was closer to 1%.
I understand why you stipulated to the 0.2%, but I just want to be clear that that number is pretty much fanciful at this point. And even if it were true, 0.2% of 330 million people is still 660,000 dead.
All that said, while the vaccines are critically important tools brought to us by President Trump, they should NEVER be forced on anyone.
Thanks for your analysis, and I agree, I was just stipulating to the rosiest of pictures. That being said, you and I have always agreed — there should never be compulsory vaccination from the federal government.
OK, whatever number is used, the fact still remains that, overwhelming, people that “die from COVID19” have serious underlying comorbidities. Anecdotal cases of a 25 year old who apparently died of only COVID19 are statistically insignificant. And yes, i realize that the risk of dying (at least right now) from any of the “vaccines” is also statisticalLY very low. My whole point is that I am leery of experimental injections. I am not “anti-vax”, I have had more vaccines than the average person. It is a personal decision. I am fully comfortable that you have been vaccinated and I hope you are. I am fully comfortable in not taking an experimental injection at this time. At some later point I may get one. But for now, for me, the risks of possible future adverse reactions from an experimental injection far outweighs any threat from COVID19.
The real virus will target the vaccinated, that’s why it’s being pushed so hard. We’ve been warned about this.
