Rush cannot be replaced. He was in a league of his own. I’ve never heard either of these guys. Maybe Sexton filled in for Rush a couple of times, but he didn’t leave a lasting impression.
Bongino is the closest thing to Rush today. He has a long way to go and has to build his own audience. Same with these guys.
Right now I’m going with Bongino.
I followed Bongino for a long time on Twitter way before he was a household name. I like his politics and intellect.
However I just can’t listen to him. He sat in many times for Mark Levin. One time in particular he was so obnoxious, he was very angry about something and I’m not kidding. He kept making these loud almost grunting sounds over and over. He’d loooong grunt then try to get his words out…nope, long grunt again, try to talk…nope grunt long again. Omg!
It was unreal. I turned him off and vowed I was done ever trying to hear him again. I’ll read him. I’ve watched him eviscerating Geraldo on video clips on twitter. But he’s never going to take my time to listen to on radio.
