CNN is owned by ATT, a highly regulated utility. It must do the bidding of the leviathan state or enjoy the IRS, SEC, DOJ, FCC, FBI and other agencies constantly disrupting its business interests or preventing them from expanding. Today’s bureaucracy will also exert the heavy hand on the banks and financial institutions a company resisting the state depends on to fund operations.
There cannot be a free press if the state has the power to license operations or restrict the investment capital available to the media outlet. Ben Franklin could print up flyers on his own printing press and distribute them in the state. The only way the state could shut him down would be to arrest him and take his printing press. Today, the state has much more subtle ways of influencing electronic and print media.
Yes he is. He is lying to protect himself from his actions in funding the Lab in Wuhuan. He has lied to Congress. He has lied to the public. He has lied about medicines that will treat this disease easily, effectively and they are cheap. He lied about "gain of function" funding. He must lie least he suffer the consequences of his reckless actions.
But worse, Fauci is a very skilled and trained doctor. He knew the proper way to handle this disease. He did not, and this was 100% political. He is evil.
More likely, the Obama administration shut down U.S. research into coronaviruses to steer a monopoly to the Communist Chinese. (Why was Hunter Biden getting paid to sit on company boards and kick "10% to the Big Guy")?
The virus sickened employees at the Wuhan lab in the Fall of 2019 and it spread from there.
Fauci had to keep his mouth shut to cover his collusion into the crime of sabotaging U.S. research. Now that they've had enough time to cover up evidence of the crime of sending this work to China, they can pretend to investigate.
And all who defended him, the media, politicians, are liars as well.
Do not trust anything they say. They are proven liars.
Next up: can we trust what they say about the vaccines, Global Warming, racism, sexism, on and on.

They didn’t even bother to investigate - just decided to attack President Trump.
All of this ridicule to portray him as some sort of a madman probably was worth at least a -1% of the vote. Mission accomplished.
