All Yamina MK's but one say they will back leader in joining bloc parties seeking to oust Netanyahu; unapologetic Bennett insists coalition won't be leftist.
Yamina leader Naftali Bennett told his party's lawmakers Sunday that he intends to join with Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid in forming a coalition, a move that, if completed in the next few days, would end more than 12 consecutive years of rule by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu...

And we wonder why Jews in USA vote leftist even though the left despises them and the position of the left destroys America. Look how they behave in Israel, so prideful and factional they imperil Israel with multiple split elections in a time of great National danger. They look to have an untried leftist leadership in time of war because they cannot, as a people, recognize the most pressing issues and focus on the minutia.
Moral weakness in our world is a harsh reality for all peoples. I can only clean up my own act to clear up my own mind and make the right decisions.
For Israel let us pray for Israel and desire in our hearts for Israel what we want to have in our own lives.
I need sobriety and sanity among other things to make good decisions.
I predict Israel will miss Netanyahu just the way we in the US sorely miss Trump. Israel’s change in government is not a propitious one.
Israel is also hurt by an extreme party driven electoral system which encourages a fractured electorate and destabilizes the government. It’s a weakness that encourages the growth of fanatic single issue constituencies while undermining sober and earnest leaders, e.g. Benjamin Netanyahu.
In this country we have “Putz” and “Schmuck” parties as in Republicans and Democrats with their Uniparty policies and the third parties that aren’t Uniparty are shut out.
In Israel the system with its 3.25 percent threshold gives the smaller parties a chance to share in government by giving them seats in parliament.
That will last about four weeks.
No fan of Bibi, but probably will never vote Yamina again, either.
So Bennett is conservative, Lapid is liberal, and the alliance will also include Meretz (far left) and an Arab block (some of which includes Islamists).
How long will this government last?
A major shock to Israel’s political system that is for sure.
That’s what Likud is putting out right now regarding the new government that is planned.
We will see the truth of the situation emerge in the coming weeks.
Netanyahu said tonight he expects defections from the more conservative parties in the coalition against him.
His people are out in the streets and they targeted Ayelet Shaked’s home tonight. She is a key player in the new proposed PM Naftali Bennett’s Yamina Party.
Are we going to see intimidation and or violence aimed at conservative parliament members supporting the new government in the coming hours and days?
Yes. I am just so worried for them.
As little as I like Bibi, I like Lapid much, much less. And I won’t forgive Bennett for serving him up to us as the new PM.
This minority government will collapse by the end of the year. Their only accomplishment will have been getting rid of Netanyahu
Lapid is a secularist in the spirit of his father and hating religious people is a dead end. It will be interesting to see how all that plays out the secular-religious tensions.
Those tensions very clear in relation to COVID.
Lieberman has been getting mileage on the anti-religious bandwagon in recent years.
Security will have to be in the forefront and Lapid will have to listen to Gantz or Bennett or somebody else not on the Left when it comes to that.
Moral weakness was designed the minute Charles Lyell was venerated as credible. Morality has a source and his plan was flawlessly orchestrated. We can take it back. Not just for ourselves but for the majority who desire it. The left hasn’t won anywhere without dishonesty, which means we have a chance.
The remnant always wins... after they turn back.
After his quick gratuitous congratulations to Biden, I have no inkling of concern for Netanyahu.
There is so much more going on here than left or right.
After 5 elections, some just want a decision.
And Bibi is no prize. He just looked great in comparison to Obama.
He was Mitt Romney’s boss back in the private equity days.
Not a swamp member, but a token Jew affiliate.
Brought to you by the same Deep State that stole the US 2020 election.
