The 20-year-old black man who was fatally shot by a Minnesota police officer during a traffic stop in April was allegedly involved in an armed carjacking and violent assault three weeks before he was killed, according to a new lawsuit.

That would explain why he resisted the arrest but doesn't justify shooting him. Officer Potter is still on the hook for that.

Yup. It could have been an angry grandma or a Karen that merited tasing and she would have shot them. Wright wasn’t a loss, but Officer Potter’s incompetence and endangerment of the other officers in her incompetence must be dealt with.
