Putin says relations with the United States are at lowest level in recent years

Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with NBC News ahead of his meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden next week, said U.S.-Russia relations are at their lowest point in years. This is reported by Reuters.

Putin and Biden will meet in Geneva on Wednesday. The White House has said Biden will bring up ransomware attacks emanating from Russia, Moscow's aggression against Ukraine, the jailing of dissidents and other issues that have irritated the relationship.

"We have a bilateral relationship that has deteriorated to its lowest point in recent years," Putin said in an interview broadcast on Friday.

Putin praised former President Donald Trump as "an extraordinary individual, talented individual," and said Biden, as a career politician, was "radically different" from Trump.

Asked about Biden calling him a killer in an interview in March, Putin said he had heard dozens of such accusations. "This is not something I worry about in the least," Putin said.

Biden, at the start of an eight-day visit to Europe this week, said: "We're not seeking conflict with Russia."

"We want a stable and predictable relationship ... but I've been clear: The United States will respond in a robust and meaningful way if the Russian government engages in harmful activities."

Putin was asked about several Russian dissidents whose deaths have been blamed on Moscow, including ex-KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko who was poisoned in 2006. Putin dismissed the question as “verbal indigestion.“ He said some of those responsible for the deaths are in prison.

On the issue of recent ransomware attacks that the United States has traced to Russia, Putin denied any knowledge of the hackings and called on Biden to reach an agreement with him on cyberspace.

If the Russians were to reinstate the Soviet Union, the current Marxist cabal in DC will greet them with open arms.

Can you blame him for saying that after 4 years of unprovable ‘collusion’? Putin is not into being a scapegoat.

Simply not credible. This administration is obviously weak. They might do something stupid to try and appear otherwise, however.

Why, may I ask? He’s certainly done more to uphold Western culture and Christian values than most Rat politicians in the last 20 years.

Xiden needs to keep his pie hole shut. All the leftists in America went on for years with "Russia, Russia, Russia". Too late, they dug the hole and they are trying to dig their way out. (Intentional use of words). We need to stop sounding like a bunch of pussies on the world stage. America needs to clearly state what it wants and do what it wants. Russia can go along with it or they can be ignored.

Unfortunately, that is true. And the democrat politicians are responsible now for more deaths by abortion (63 millions of innocents) than even Mao (only 60 millions) or Stalin (32 millions).

Biden called Putin a killer:

CNN: Russia reacts angrily after Biden calls Putin a 'killer.'

That ought to help relations between the two countries. Surprised Putin will even speak to the idiot.

Adolph?

I’m guessing we took in more crazed bioweapon Nazi scientists via Operation Paperclip after WWII than Stalin did—and we seem to now be the ones carrying Hitler’s fascist mantle.

I don’t know why we continue to antagonize Russia I really think our two nations can be great partners. President Trump recognized this.

I am not sure if Biden is a killer. I assume that he is among many other things.

The United States will respond in a robust and meaningful way if the Russian government engages in harmful activities.”

Like the totally UNrobust, do-nothing way Dementia Joe responded when Russia engaged in a massive troop build up I the Crimea a few weeks back?
I doubt if Putin is the least bit moved by empty threats from the demented old fool that Biden is.

Biden starts staring at the ceiling.
Putin walks out.
Biden starts talking about kids rubbing his hairy legs.
Putin walks out.
Biden starts to verbally wander.
Putin walks out.
Biden signs anything he is given.
Putin walks out - smiling.

I wonder if photo-ops will show Harris discreetly standing behind Biden’s right, wearing a hooded black robe - and a scythe.

It is pretty sad when our President-select is a lower form of human being than the Russian President.

Putin is laughing at the USA. What was the world’s greatest superpower is now a turd-world nation with a decrepit old fool in the White House obeying the dictates of a cabal of marxists who will not show their faces.
