I realize I'm a bit late to the party but I was just thinking about how Asians managed to catch up to, then surpass, whites in education and income levels if modern day America is such a racist country. And they did it without any special handouts or benefiting from past racism. A mere century ago Asians were actively discriminated against. If anything, affirmative action hurts Asians MORE than whites. All so white liberals could make themselves feel better about the possibility of their ancestors owning slaves.

My husband is Taiwanese-American and he went to an underfunded inner-city majority black/Hispanic school. Nevertheless he still has never joined a gang, dealt or done drugs, been chased by baby mamas demanding child support, or built up a criminal record apart from a few parking and speeding tickets. His native language is Mandarin Chinese, whose syntax and grammar are completely alien to an English speaker, yet he speaks better English than many blacks who claim it as their native tongue. It is disingenuous to say that culture doesn't matter when every other variable is controlled for and still produces a different result. That's why black people hate Asians so much. They (Asians) undermine the lie that systemic racism is the only thing holding black people back.
