Until now men who have sex with men had to wait three months before donating.
From Monday, gay men in sexually active, monogamous relationships can donate for the first time.
Anyone who has had anal sex with a new or multiple partners in the past three months will have to wait three months to donate - regardless of their gender.
It follows a review by the Fair (For the Assessment of Individualised Risk) steering group, which concluded switching to an individualised, gender-neutral approach was fairer and maintained the safety of the blood supply.
The review's recommendations are to be implemented by all four UK nations.

Such is nearly impossible for gay men. Gay men are only about sex - on demand, with zero responsibility or limitations. This is a very dangerous move.
If they are smart they will allow it but then just throw the blood away.

It's not impossible when they get to redefine what "monogamous" means, which isn't anywhere NEAR the definition we all know and recognize.
Health care professionals, if they are intellectually honest, will tell "monogamous" gay male couples to ALWAYS use a condom, because it's a high probability that their partner is having outside sex and not telling the partner.
There have indeed been studies on this, and very few, if any, male homosexuals are completely monogamous over 5 years.
What other group “fights” for the ability to donate blood like these reprobates do? It defies reason.
The ultimate goal is to prove Dr. Fauxi right in his assumption back in the eighties that AIDS will spread like wildfire amongst the Hetero population.
Before donating blood, people will have to complete a donation safety check and will be asked whether, over the last three months, they have:- Had a sexually transmitted disease (including gonorrhoea)
- Taken part in chemsex (defined as sexual activity, often in groups, under the influence of stimulant drugs, excluding cannabis, alcohol and Viagra, to enhance sexual experience)
- Had anal sex with multiple partners or a new sexual partner with or without a condom or other protection.If the answer is "yes" to any of these questions, they will not be eligible to give blood for another three months.
In addition, they will be asked whether they:
- Regularly have anal sex with or without a condom or other protection with more than one person
- Take pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV (Prep) continuously
- Have ever had syphilisIf their answer is "yes" to any of these questions, they will not be eligible to give blood.
Well, that knocks out 98% of fags.
But AIDS?.....no problem.....
You expect them to answer each question truthfully?
Indeed it is when you are homosexual. That is just "foreplay" to get things warmed up. The same with defecating. In the homosexual community, taking a dump on someone's face is all part of the fun.

As if ‘monogamy’ solves the problem of tainted blood... the practice of anal sex is so dangerous that no one should have to see one red drop of blood from either party who even thought that it was ok to insert a johnson in the disease infested fecal matter delivery/rejection system of another human (male or female).

If anything, a severe criminal penalty should be applied to those who lie about their transmission risk. That means that if you donate blood that is identified as HIV infect, you go to jail.
