Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz (Blue and White) spoke Tuesday morning with US Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III, who congratulated him on his continued term as Defense Minister within Israel’s new government.
In a statement, Israel's Defense Ministry said that "the two continued the discussion begun in Washington concerning the imperative to strengthen and fortify Israel’s security vis-v-vis external challenges."
"They further discussed the continued need to halt Iranian nuclear plans as well as the current opportunities to advance regional peace and expand normalization agreements.
"Gantz thanked the Defense Secretary for his and the administration’s support of Israel and its security needs, and stated that he will work to empower the Palestinian Authority and the moderate forces in the region."

He actually said he will work with the US, as it did under ex-Pres. B. Clinton, to rearm Palestinians to kill more Jews than ever before in the hopes of creating a fully militarized Palestinian state by going back to the ‘69 line.

You forgot to mention having a perennial leftist in his cabinet to do the dirty work of tearing down the settlements of the hilltop pioneers, whenever POTUS or BGATZ demanded it.
They have another agenda, but Bennet’s agenda will be blocked by the leftists in his coalition, and Gantz’ agenda is not realistic. What binds them together is hatred for Bibi, of whom I am not a fan, either. But hating Bibi is no substitute for a workable agenda.

I voted for him, and still I have very little faith in him as a PM. I had expected him to be a check on Bibi, or a left-wing party at the worst. As a minority PM, I have just a little bit of hope that he is a brilliant strategist who will turn the tables on my worst expectations.
