HONG KONG (AP) — Like many in Hong Kong, Jason Chan had no immediate plans to get vaccinated against COVID-19. For the finance professional, there seemed to be no pressing need, with travel restrictions still in place and no major outbreak at home.
But Chan had a change of heart when he heard that one of the city’s property developers was offering a lucky draw with a grand prize of a one-bedroom condominium. The day the draw was announced, he went online and made a booking to get vaccinated.
“It’s a chance to win a free apartment,” he reasoned.
He is one of thousands of Hong Kong residents who have rushed to make vaccination appointments after private companies, encouraged by the government, announced a slew of incentives for vaccinated residents, including the chance to win gold bars or a new Tesla.
The hope is the incentive programs will breathe new life into Hong Kong’s vaccination program, which began in February but has been slower than expected amid widespread vaccine hesitancy due to multiple factors, including fears of serious side effects, a mistrust of the government and a lack of concern from residents like Chan.
At the moment, only about 16% of the semiautonomous Chinese territory’s 7.5 million people have been fully vaccinated, but since the first incentives were announced at the end of May, there has been a surge in bookings.

This is unprecedented. They are pushing these things so hard all over the world.
If anyone thinks this about public health, they need to look at this story too. We all know how much China values public health.
China is just doing this because they care about people in Hong Kong!
I couldn’t keep a straight face when I typed out the last paragraph.
The commies are going for global control, that’s what all this about. When one can see the bigger picture, it all makes sense. It doesn’t even matter what they do, you just know their goal is global control and you can see the machinations in effect.
The US southern border, viruses, inflation, supply shortages and price controls, the list goes on. It’s all designed to work together for one common goal, and that’s the eradication of our way of life and implementing their utopia. The elephant in the room that is not comfortable to talk about is that in order to get their utopia many will have to die.
There are so many though that can’t see that, or don’t want to see it because their minds are incapable of processing it that they will continue to believe the lies they are told and keep staying in their little bubbles. When it comes to be their turn, they will act shocked, they will kick and scream and say they’ve been good, but it won’t matter.

I’m glad you mentioned this.
I was reading from the left’s perspective this morning and came across an article that said it’s too late to save the planet etc. The earth is retaining double the amount of heat from 2005-19 etc. It was a lot of garbage. What was very interesting were the comments.
Hundreds and hundreds of people commenting in despair, and that they need to kill the rich and kill capitalism etc. The comments were very disgusting, but it’s necessary to know this.
My take, and based on my own experiences of what I saw overseas as well is this:
1. When they think it’s time, they will act, it’ll make the riots etc thus far seem like a joke.
2. They will show zero empathy or remorse and will have zero mercy on you.
3. This isn’t a movie script or the plot of a book, this is real, these people are real, they are openly talking about what they want to do to us. They are simply waiting for a spark.
4. Ignoring the problem won’t magically make it go away. Freedom loving people need to prepare physically and mentally for what is coming.
They are emboldened more so now than ever before, and all these events are culminating into one event which will set them off. That is my take.
You’ll die just in time to get it raffled off in the next man made pandemic.
