Recently drove through flyover America. Through upper Michigan and then west to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole with fam in Q RV
Highly recommend it. What a beautiful country. Lots of smiling faces. 99% no masks.
Who are those many you refer to?
Driving through Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota one is engulfed by wonder beyond comprehension. In addition to the wondrous natural beauty of the rolling terrain, mighty rivers, and huge blue skies there is manufactured bounty beyond imagination. The landscape is dotted with small towns, wind turbines, grain elevators, railroads, all underpinning the industrial and economic energy of the United States. One can feel the drive and strength of America. It is potency derived from geographic might and unleashed human spirit. There is a sensation of invincibility.
There is also a more subtle perception. The power on display is but a sampling of the potential of the United States. The manmade marvel that is present was created with seemingly a “matter of fact” effort. The enormity of the United States has yet to be revealed. When unharnessed, with a unifying objective, employing the principles of a free people, the United States’ ability to influence mankind is like no other entity ever conceived.
Lincoln’s First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1861: Continue to execute all the express provisions of our National Constitution, and the Union will endure forever — it being impossible to destroy it, except by some action not provided for in the instrument itself.
Thanks, Terry. Glad you noticed!

Naturally, we Hoosiers tend to disagree.

Looking forward to it as we'll be going through the middle of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and steering well south of Chicago.
Here's a good song that fits this thread:
You couldn’t pay me enough millions to live on the libtard coasts in a blue state. Completely ruins the standard of living.
