Wrong. Congress did not pass the 13th Amendment until a year later. Because of the lack of scholarship on the author's part this qualifies as a BLACK LIE.
Don't be so sure. I have a feeling those lies will be ensconced in the next generation of American public school history books.
They'll never admit that it was the West that put an end to slavery - first the British then 600,000 American lives lost during the WBTS to put a final end to slavery.
Anyone questioning those lies will be at great risk of career and personal destruction.
That's how the left rolls.
At some point we will just not give a crap what the left says.
Hopefully soon.
OFFS! Look at the differences in culture. Whites don’t account for double digit weekly shootings. Also rare that whites loot or beat up fast food workers over the slightest perceived slight.
White culture IS better. It just is.
Within the past few days, an author (a history instructor, IIRC) was on NPR talking about his new book. He claimed that the history of the Alamo as taught in Texas is a myth, and that the heroes of the Alamo were crooks. Crazy.
For radio listening in rural areas of at least several majority Republican states, there’s “classic rock,” the new progressive country (bizarre mix of exaggerated twang/rap/contemporary “outlaw”), often leftist, glamorizes creeps), classical (universities), top 40 (sounds like screaming country/rap) and NPR from both metro areas and rural universities. All headache music. That’s all...no new alternative, independent music or conservative talk radio except for crazy conspiracy theory preachers selling snake oil.
