I don’t understand Maine’s incomprehensible reflecting of her time and again. I think mostly it came down to the few ,are cities that had gone liberal, or at the least rino.

Maine loved Paul Lepage I think his name was, a no nonsense conservative fella that didn’t give a crap what anyone thought of him, but overcoming the city votes was too much I guess.

No fan ! I guess its a tight rope act being a Republican and staying in office in Maine.- BINGO!

“Maine loved Paul Lepage I think his name was, a no nonsense conservative fella that didn’t give a crap what anyone thought of him, but overcoming the city votes was too much I guess.” I won’t understand or accept why he didn’t run for the Senate. Didn’t want to lose I guess but he won statewide.

Maine conservatives held their noses and voted for Collins because her RAT opponent, former Maine House Speaker Sarah Gideon, is a 48 year old version of AOC.

Another reason: Maine voters wanted President Trump to have a Republican controlled Senate in his (now stolen) second term. It was a numbers game in regards to controlling the Senate.
