My favorite Chinese restaurants are on Mott and Bayard................Doyers ST too. 67 Mott, Hong Hing, was my favorite back in the 70’s across from Hung Fat’s. When I was on Grant street (SF) and ordered Chow Fun with Curry, they brought me something with the wide noodles and potatoes. They ran out of the flat rice noodles. I ate at the Ranch near Palo Alto in one of the few Chinese restaurants there, the fried rice was terrible. The best dishes were at the Ranch Market’s Cafeteria style counter.
