Absolutely unbelievable. He expressed a POLITICAL opinion on social media and now he's forbidden from earning a living and must take 'anger management' and 'diversity' classes...

...in SOUTH CAROLINA. Put a fork in the USC. It's a dead letter.

Speaking against St. Floyd is religious heresy.

What needs to happen in this case, as well as Rudy’s, are massive amounts of discrimination lawsuits against states who only rule in one direction with these cases.

So what did he say that was so bad? He was expressing surprise that the stock market didn’t care about floyd’s life.

He was unhappy that no one cared.

Doesn’t matter. He should have know that it’s now ST Floyd, and that everyone must say the appropriate worshipful things or be silenced forever.

The justices said his posts “tended to bring the legal profession into disrepute”

The “legal” profession IS disreputable and these judges are certainly promoting that idea. I got off of fascistbook months ago and I recommend ALL conservatives do the same.

The regime uses an interesting mix of Nazi and Stalinist repressive techniques.

“...(expletive)...”

That’s not suitable language for a member of the bar.

The lawyer’s statement was all too true, however.

“Importantly, however, Respondent does not raise a First Amendment challenge to discipline. His attorney wrote the Court after oral argument stating, “We do not think it is necessary for the Court to address First Amendment issues.” For this reason, we will not analyze the impact of the First Amendment.”

have we entered the criminalize phase?

demonize, ostracize, criminalize

no dissent, resistance is futile

I used to say “see you in the camps” but there will be no camps, they will just isolate you

“Traywick’s posts were ‘intended to incite and had the effect of inciting, gender and race-based conflict beyond the scope of the conversation Respondent would otherwise have with his Facebook ‘friends,’’ the justices wrote in their unanimous opinion.”

I’ll let you judge the factual extent of that yourselves.

Hopefully a jury of their peers will too.

Lawyer Comrade David Paul Traywick was handed a six-month suspension and ordered to take a diversity class was sent to a re-education camp earlier this month by the state Supreme Court, The State newspaper reported.

The attorney will also have to undergo an anger management assessment psychiatric treatment with a licensed therapist state-appointed psychiatrist before his license is reinstated, the outlet reported.

Seems familiar, somehow.

From the article: "The Office of Disciplinary Counsel had received complaints from 46 different people about Traywick’s Facebook posts,..."

So can 46 of us complain about some dirtbag rat attorney and get them suspended just as easily? /rhetorical

Mr Traywick obviously never heard or took to heart this famous saying:

“Some people” don’t like your opinion on something...so you must be punished - to the extent that you may be ruined.

Can you BELIEVE this?

Did you actually read Opinion No. 28037, RE: In the matter of David Paul Traywick, Respondent?

Traywick waived his 1A challenge:

"Nevertheless, we focus our analysis on only two of them. We do this mindful of Respondent's right to freedom of speech under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Importantly, however, Respondent does not raise a First Amendment challenge to discipline. His attorney wrote the Court after oral argument stating, "We do not think it is necessary for the Court to address First Amendment issues." For this reason, we will not analyze the impact of the First Amendment."
