Pennsylvania Gov. Wolf Vetos Bill to Ban Vaccine Passports Aimed at Protecting Privacy

The General Assembly of Pennsylvania approved legislation that would preserve medical freedoms for Pennsylvanians by prohibiting the use of vaccine passports and limiting the powers of the Department of Health, but it was vetoed today by Gov. Tom Wolf.

The bill’s primary sponsor, state Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill, a Republican and chair of the Senate Communications and Technology Committee told The Epoch Times: “This bill is mainly to protect the privacy of personal information, and it assures your freedom as a citizen of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, that the government is not going to restrict your ability to live your daily lives.”

Senate Bill 618 would ban the state as well as a county, a municipality from requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination. It would prohibit a school district, any college, or university from requiring proof of vaccination if that school receives any type of state subsidy. The bill also would prohibit the expenditure of tax dollars to create an electronic vaccine tracking system. Finally, the bill would limit the Secretary of Health in Pennsylvania from imposing unilateral restrictions.

Wolf, a Democrat, stated that Senate Bill 618 would severely limit medical providers and the public from having access to vital information on vaccination rates and vaccine efficacy.

Prohibit State Vaccine Smartphone App

This bill would ban the state from utilizing taxpayer resources to develop any type of smartphone app. Phillips-Hill noticed that throughout this pandemic, Pennsylvania has followed New York’s lead on many mitigation strategies.

New York officials introduced the Excelsior Pass app earlier this year as the country’s first government-issued vaccine passport, which provides digital proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results. “They spent about $2.5 million of taxpayers’ money there to create that new platform,” Phillips-Hill said.

Tommie (the Commie) Wolf might have been neutered by the recently enacted Constitutional amendments and may be a term-limited lame duck but his veto pen is mightier than his sword.

Racial divisions might be greater at times in a culture of freedom and less government but with more government racial minorities can be victims of genocide. The Nazis were Leftist as they were big government socialists.

The Communists liked to call Naziz the “Right” or “capitalists” but in reality the were close to each other on the extreme left side of the political spectrum. With communism race becomes irrelevant along with all other traits that make you an individual.

As you move Left the government and the culture regards you as less human and as such less worthy of respect and existence.

It is time that the sane people of Pennsylvania get rid of Gov. Wolf ASAP, on the grounds that he is an existential threat to the health and welfare of the state’s citizens.

Does Pennsylvania have a 25th Amendment type clause in the state constitution/laws that could lead to his removal on mental incompetency grounds. If ever there was a nasty SOB in Pennsylvania’s politics, it is this wackjob.

All of the Covid vaccine records have already entered into a national database run by the CDC. The portal into it is on a state level for individuals.

I’m headed to Europe for a month and the hotels in some countries are requiring a vaccine certificate to stay.

After about fifteen phone calls, I gained access to the portal and printed my own certificate with all the detailed information on the little white card received when vaccinated.

It’s an official looking document with a seal.
