Criminal Home Invaders Have Had An Unusually Deadly Past Few Days

The past several days have seen what seems to be an unusually large surge of alleged criminal home invaders being shot and killed by armed citizens.

Crime has predictably spiked with increasingly anti-police Democrats in charge of both Congress and the executive branch, and gun sales have also hit record highs as people look to protect themselves and their families from the encroaching lawlessness.

Three of the shootings occurred in California, a Democrat-run state that's been soft on crime for decades (via Fox News).

A California man in his 60s shot and killed a 27-year-old armed man who broke into his house on Tuesday morning, according to the Fairfield Police Department.

The homeowner was having breakfast with his wife when the intruder, who was on parole for a violent crime out of Alameda County, started knocking on the door at 8:30 a.m. then tried to kick the door down.

Once the intruder broke the door down and entered the residence, which is located about 40 miles northeast of San Francisco, the homeowner shot him.

The intruder fled the home and was found across the street by responding officers in possession of a loaded handgun with an extended magazine.

How was it that the home owner was allowed to have a weapon in the Fairfield Ca incident? But, nice shooting youngster.

Some people buy guns to defend themselves and their family. To the Democrat/communist/Left this is unthinkable as it thins the Left’s ranks (though there is much left to thin ...)

Democrats want us disarmed because armed homeowners are an occupational hazard to their constituency.

The normal people are fighting back to protect their families and what’s theirs. But it’s exactly that which the democrats want to take away from us. They want street savages to be able to waltz right in and take what they want, and to kill you. That is why they are taking guns from innocent, non-violent citizens but leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.

“More people have guns.”

Yes, and many are 1st time gun owners. But ammo supply is still very very tight.

What we really need now is for someone to put in a company in Texas that manufactures primers, brass and bullets.

Wonder if one of those companies in a blue state could be bought?

There is no end to the apparent demand for ammo and the imports must be heavily restricted.

Powder is tight too, but right now, I have enough. Am still short of comfortable supply of a couple of calibers of brass. Have enough large rifle primers but could use more small pistol primers.

The store shelves. Are empty so stocking people and homes is the only option.it is retail’s fault for not restocking shelves.

Some criminals probably assume that they can more often get away with attacking victims in commie California, and they probably can, more often.

A normal magazine in most states. Now where did he get it in gun control California?

Plenty of firearms in California.
They’re just not allowed to have magazines larger than 10 rounds and you can’t get concealed carry permits unless you are ‘somebody’ or know ‘somebody.’
The question is, will the homeowner be punished for defending himself from a protected group?

Yes. They should back off from their anti-Second-Amendment push, though. They're mad about their favorite criminal constituents catching bullets, but there are many uglier ways to stop criminals from attacking. They won't really disarm us, no matter what they do. Everything is a weapon.

That’s a good idea about starting a new Texas plant. Looks like a plant in Arkansas is increasing production.

Without new capacity, it will be a long time before we can buy primers for reloading.

The last time this happened, we had available imports. Looks like right now it is not allowed.

They are making and selling all kinds of very expensive ammo. The basic stuff is not profitable enough.

So it is very difficult to find basic ammo.

because they think your property was the result of some vague notion of privileged and hey, INSURANCE COVERS IT, so why should their little thugs go to jail let alone be shot?

Cops, targeted by their Democrat politicians, are practicing drive-by policing so the criminals are emboldened. COVID lockdowns mean the usual crime victims aren't around so the criminals have to expand their hunting grounds. Many of these criminals will inevitably decide to target a victim who fights back.

"If violent crime is to be curbed, it is on the intended victim who can do it. The felon does not fear the police, and he fears neither judge nor jury. Therefore what he must be taught to fear is his victim." - Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper
