The idea that we can somehow “follow the rules” and go down that particular path to a second term for President Trump is beyond stupid. If you throw away the rules, you might have something. But “following the rules” is why we are where we are.

I think the 7 points are stupid. At least the last one. You can remove Biden and Harris but the runner-up in the Nov election doesn’t become president. Pelosi does.

The only way Pelosi might be appointed president is if the November election results were completely set aside and the new election date would be set.
And actually, I could live with that. On a temporary basis until they fare election was held.
But putting down the crack pipe for a moment and getting back to reality, all of this is nonsense. There is no seven point plan that is going to reinstate President Trump. There is no way in hell the Supreme Court would rule in favor of any such reinstatement.
I have no interest in CPAC. They’re having Senators Blackburn and Hagerty speak — Senators who helped put Biden in the White House. Anyone who voted to certify the election should be banned from the CONSERVATIVE Political Action Committee.

The public mechanism utilized will be a choice among many, the one most palatable to citizenry as a whole. Election was expected to be stolen, it was stolen, and now the nation must be made whole again.
Under the covers, IMHO, is the Insurrection Act. Nov 2020 was a sting operation, and it occurred and is now proceeding according to plan.
I don’t think you can flip any seats in the 2020 election.......

Haven’t read the plan but what about this scenario: Trump reinstated, vote frauds uncovered and the guilty indicted, and Dems in Dem Party and on TV news shows plus BLM and Antifa say “Goodness. Well, we lost fair and square after all. Better luck next election. Congratulations.”
Won’t happen, just satire, ha-ha....

Funny gag by me except that is what the conservatives did on our side: Better luck next time. See what Lindsay Graham, Romney, Murkowski and the Dems have in mind and just quietly accept it all until next time. Maybe an emotional call to a talk show host or a forum post. Dems would never, ever do that in a million years.
That’s why the Dems are on top. They are smiling and happy, prosecuting Deplorables, endangering Trump and his family, brainwashing tiny school children into homosexuality and flag desecration. Intimidating anyone who questioned the election fraud. And loving every day as it comes.

Even if that were to happen, it's meaningless at this point unless something is done with regard to the 22nd Amendment.
At this point, at least half of Trump's second term is down the drain. If he was re-instated tomorrow, it would take a good six months to get things back on track and then he'd have a full year of a very hostile Congress with Democrat control (especially when you consider the RINOS that will league with the Democrats against him and block his every move).
Best case scenario would be GOP regaining control in the 2022 midterms but that would also necessitate purging some RINOS. So that would give Trump half a term.
The best outcome here is to give Trump the full four-year term that he rightfully won on Nov 3 of last year. This would mean making an exception to the 22nd Amendment and allowing him to run for a third term in 2024.
But that is presuming that the President and Vice President were duly elected, and are merely being removed for “high crimes and misdemeanors” they committed after assuming office. The current situation is entirely different. They were elected fraudulently, which is no election at all. And Trump is not the second-place finisher, he’s the actual winner.
And yeah, I’ve heard all of the blather about how the electors have already met and voted, therefore even if fraud occurred, so the argument goes, the election is over. But that argument again neglects one key distinction: The slates of electors themselves were fraudulently sent to the Electoral College, therefore the electors sent had no rightful authority to choose the President. You have to rewind the whole thing to the point where the electors were sent by the states, replace the fraudulent slates with the slates that were truly chosen by the People, and let them vote (and this would not be a “re-vote”, but would be the first and only vote allowed by the Constitution, as the previous “vote” was fraudulent, and therefore not a Constitutionally-valid vote of the Electoral College).
That’s the logical argument. Of course, I well know that our present government is so deeply corrupt that this is highly unlikely to happen, but it is what should happen. Our nation’s founders, who wrote the Constitution, would NEVER have allowed such an abomination as this stolen election to stand. They NEVER would have, as some even here do, just shrugged and said, “Oh well, there’s no remedy because the Electoral College has spoken.”
Only 14 RAT senators are up for re-election in 2022. 2/3 needed for conviction in Senate is impossible. Although she would probably feign illness and not show up, I love the idea of Trump being Speaker and watching Nancy hand him the gavel.

This “plan” is of course not the way.
I’d like to see the line in the Constitution that says, “in the event of a fraudulent election, here’s what we do: we give the office to the runner-up”.
That line isn’t in there.
But the Second Amendment is. And that’s why the Second Amendment is there. The problem with Jan 6 was that only the Capitol Police were armed. We’re not voting our way out of this.
