The governor of Texas has been accused of attempting to make it harder for people of color to vote, after he moved to end one county's 24 hour and drive-through voting.
Greg Abbott, a Republican, appeared on Chris Wallace's Fox News show on Sunday morning.
Republicans in state legislatures have filed scores of elections-related measures this year, some of which stem from baseless claims by former President Donald Trump and his allies challenging the results of the presidential election.

And drive through voting put the ballot box in someone’s car (with passengers/cameras/etc) and would not appear to be compliant with election law.

Wallace’s racism needs to be confronted.
We make flying more difficult to prevent hijackings and theft of tickets, not to deter minorities.
Anyone who thinks the ID rules to fly are not racist cannot claim Voter ID rules are racist without being a total hypocrite.
We put minimum hurdles in place to ensure integrity. Anyone who believes a minority cannot meet those minimum hurdles must believe minorities are inferior.
Our side needs to confront these racists and expose them as such. But our side needs a backbone.

Actually, Abbott made a good argument about other people being in the car and influencing the vote. Voting by law is supposed to be a private process. That’s why we have curtains around the voting booth. The more we get away from that concept, the more we open ourselves up for fraud.
That’s Chrissy’s narrative and he’s sticking to it.
Nevermind that there is zero evidence “people of color” can’t obtain ID’s just like anybody else or that they can’t show up to vote just like anybody else. The talking point is that any kind of election integrity law is RRRRRRRRRRRRRRAACISSSSSS!!! so you can always count on Chrissy to parrot that line.
I bet these same ‘people of color’ have no problem whatsoever buying beer, which also requires a photo ID.
