I give Damon credit for giving good performances (the Bourne martial arts sequences are outstanding) and he’s been trying to stretch beyond his safe zone (”Ford V. Ferrari”). Acknowledging he has a shortage of understanding of the majority population shows he’s not as insulated as his LaLa Land neighbors. It’s a start.
It is a start! And good for him.
Plaid shirts and denim jeans.
Matt wears designer jeans that are torn and cost hundreds.
Meanwhile the plaid shirt and denim crowd would tell him to buy new jeans as those he is wearing are torn....
I strive to see the positive because too much negative attitude and influence is always around us trying to drag us down. I thank God for what beauty and grace we’re blessed with, not cursing misfortune. This outlook has definitely kept me going and so much nicer than being a grumbly person (I have a dog that grumbles about everything LOL). Pets help.
I get the idea Damon has been clueless about Real America from birth. His parents were both actors and his mother is one of those Three Name People who never took her husbands name. Poor kid grew up in a bubble.
She also wrote a book with the short title of Consuming Kids: The Commercialization of Childhood.
She sounds like a real pissah.
If there’s one benefit to growing up in NYC, it’s that you’re exposed
leftist Boston, leftist Hollywood; two leftist bubbles at opposite ends of the US, that both sneer at, look down on, condescend, patronize, insult, et al, Middle America, and always will.
You’re JUST NOW , realizing this????And HOW OLD are you now, Matt????
Well, HOW ‘BOUT THEM APPLES? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
