My wife’s cousin in Mexico has a friend in Cuba who got a message out via cell link: the Internet is down all across the island and storm troopers armed with clubs are walking all the major streets to intimidate the protesters.
I trust our cousin and if she vouches for the authenticity that is good enough for me.

The secret police are going in plain clothes to houses and arresting protesters there. Fidel died just a few days after Trump won. One wonders why it took 4+ years for the people to act.

There are always ways to communicate from within a dictatorship. We should pay attention, in case it becomes necessary wherever we are. Might pick up some pointers.
