What a heartwarming story. Just like that the vaccine fairy godmother came to the man's porch to give him his own special shot. He most likely never would have gotten around to it he said because he has grandchildren at his home to watch. Gee maybe his kids that dropped off his grandchildren could have somehow found a moment to take the poor old geezer for a shot. I wonder if there were sparkles, hearts and flowers floating all around on his porch as he received his ever so convenient, magically appearing vaccine?

(Unfortunately I got the damn shots (Moderna) months ago before this mega push started, wish I didn't, especially the second one. Sort of scared into after my 69 yr. old brother-in-law had a severe case of covid, touch & go but he made it and my sister got it but not from him, from their cleaning lady, a very mild case for her thankfully. I worried more for my sister getting than her husband but he got the worst of it. Also in the more vulnerable age group, 60's.)
