These games don’t count. Right now, that is the only saving grace for USA Basketball.

Patty Mills scored 22 points and Australia held the U.S. without a field goal for the final 4:34 on the way to beating the Americans 91-83 on Monday night, dropping the three-time defending Olympic gold medalists to 0-2 in their five-game slate of exhibitions leading up to the Tokyo Games.
“I thought we got better tonight,” said U.S. coach Gregg Popovich, whose team lost to Nigeria on Saturday.
Starting with the World Cup quarterfinals in China two years ago and then their two exhibitions in Vegas, the U.S. is 1-4 in its last five games with NBA players against international competition.
In the most recent 105 games that preceded those, the U.S. went 101-4.
“We’ll learn from it,” Popovich said.

Kneelers, Losers.
Two many stars who don’t know how to not be the main guy.
I haven’t watched a basketball game in many years. However, I am on travel with work and I saw it on in my hotel room. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the USA basketball team lose.
Guess I’m unpatriotic to hope these kneelers lose EVERY game.
The world is catching up to the USA in Basketball. You notice that a lot of NBA stars are European or African. This year’s 2 leading MVP candidates were European... Luca Doncic and Nikolai Jokic ( Jokic won the MVP ). Frenchman Rudy Gobert has been defensive player of the year 3 times. Milwaukee Superstar Giannis Antentokompo is Greek African.
The Aussies and Nigerians have been playing together for some time and they’re filled with NBA and NCAA star Players too.
There’s even a crafty basketball offensive move named after the Europeans who are good at it -— the EUROSTEP ( Giannis is great at it ).
The US team on the other hand was culled from different teams who don’t even know each other’s playing style. All they know is how to play by themselves.

Basketball. . .let’s see, is that the game where many high school/college drop outs try to place a ball through a hoop?
The original ideals of The Olympics is long gone, there is no true Amateurism any more and has not been for a long time. Money has totally corrupted this and I just have interest in watching this crap nor do I care what happens. Rather watch reruns from back in the 1960’s when ABC did them and they were fun and interesting to watch.

I don’t watch the NBA, but Popo is such a liberal ass I’ve been happy to see these headlines.

Honestly, few care anymore. They lost me forever as a fan. Popovich is a liberal tool. I used to have a mindset of, “Just shut up and play”. I don’t want to see these prima donna’s anymore under any scenario.
