I just looked at the wiki entry for the MSS. The logo has the symbol of the CPP rather the national symbol. Thus it is the “Sword and Shield of the Party”, much like the KGB and Stasi. It is modeled after the KGB.

The CCP, or as they like it the CPC, is the national symbol - there is nothing else under the Xi dictatorship.
