Whenever someone asks me about critical race theory, that statistic comes to mind. What’s the priority, teaching math and reading, or turning elementary schools into social-justice boot camps?

Given that black and Hispanic students are more likely to be lagging academically, it’s a question that anyone professing to care deeply about social inequality might consider. Learning gaps manifest themselves in all kinds of ways later in life, from unemployment rates and income levels to the likelihood of teenage pregnancy, substance abuse and involvement with the criminal-justice system. Our jails and prisons already have too many woke illiterates.

And while Mr. Kendi is using trendier language—“antiracism,” “implicit bias,” etc.—critical race theory amounts to little more than a fancy argument for affirmative action, and always has.

The theory comes out of the legal academy, and early proponents argued that race, ethnicity and gender should be used as academic credentials in hiring and promoting professors. It’s less a serious academic discipline than a hustle.

It posits that racial inequality today is the sole fault of whites and the sole responsibility of whites to solve—through racial preferences for blacks. It’s employed by elites primarily for the benefit of elites, though in the name of helping the underprivileged. Ultimately, it’s about blaming your problems on other people—based on their race—which might be the last thing we should be teaching our children.

CRT is different things for different people. Some brainwashed people totally believe it. To them, it has become like a religion, that gives meaning and purpose to their lives. To other, more cynical power-hungry people, it is just another tool to advance big government and Marxism. To others (CRT trainers/consultants), it's a tool to make more money or to advance Affirmative Action. And to others, it's just a cheap way for them to virtue-signal (gain lib status) and feel better about themselves (feel morally superior to conservatives). Different people have different mixed motives for promoting Critical Race Theory.

It’s less a serious academic discipline than a hustle.

Just ask any proponent of CRT to define racism. Any reasonable definition will involve ascribing characteristics to a person solely based on their race. If you can get the proponent to agree to this vanilla definition, then ask them what it means when CRT teaches that whites are "guilty" and racist simply because they are white.

So the teachers who insist on pushing it should be dismissed!

CRT is just the "R" added between CT: Critical Theory.

It's the bedrock marxism principle that everything in life can be explained by the haves removing all happiness from the have nots. That's what CT is. Throw the R into it and you have the belief that all of life's problems can be explained by whites draining the happiness from blacks.

If you think about it, it's a bunch of double-think pushed by the same people who want us to believe in secular humanism. They on the one hand believe we all can be angelic to each other without religion, but at the same time believe the majority are totally bent on making blacks unhappy for life.

Once you look at it like that you see their core beliefs have no logic.

Everything the Democrats do, always with public money, is a hustle. Nothing but a grifters.

It’s how they keep themselves employed and are able to stuff their pockets.

Let a school system teach CRT. Guess what, that system will need people in specialized positions to teach it, have oversight, provide updates, be a spokesperson, market, etc etc. All so all of them are making money off the taxpayer because they can’t hold a job doing anything else.

But it has gotten the Moral Majority off their collocative duffs and are now addressing ALL of the race hustles now underway.
