Merkel is there for one reason...To tell Biden that Putin and she are forever tied and are NOT enemies in any way. And that she doesn't tell him what to do anymore than he would tell her what to do. And if folks are too dumb to realize that the proximity between Russia, Germany and the EU countries makes them "friends".
