there absolutely is a God, but He has allowed Satan nearly free reign on this earth- within limits- so that mankind has a free will choice whom they will follow or reject- Adam chose badly- and brought about death and decay. Every man woman and child is born with just such a nature for sin=- and it takes a strong person to kneel before God in submission when Satan is reigning and sin is so desirable and easy- Takes a real commitment to become a follower of God
