“It’s called Blue Origin because this is the blue planet and this is the planet that we have to save,” Bezos explained in 2019.

I'm only assuming the rocket is powered by rainbows and unicorn farts.

Blue Origin is set to go beyond the 62-mile-high-mark — called the Kármán line — recognized internationally as the boundary between Earth’s atmosphere and space.

More than 60 (sixty) years ago, On April 12, 1961, aboard the spacecraft Vostok 1, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin becomes the first human being to travel into space. During the flight, the 27-year-old test pilot and industrial technician also became the first man to orbit the planet, a feat accomplished by his space capsule in 89 minutes. Vostok 1 orbited Earth at a maximum altitude of 187 miles and was guided entirely by an automatic control system.

I didn’t know that. It’s very unfortunate and I’m sorry to hear it.

Congratulations to the entire crew, it’s another small step in the story of manned space flight. I hope there is more to come and that manned / tourist space flight becomes feasible. Another wonderful day here in America!

There’s nothing I need to know about this. It’s presumptuous for the Post to think I do.

This isn’t for you. You are not going to space.

In fact, people like you and me have to do without a lot of things so that the billionaires can play with their rockets.

"This isn’t for you."

There is precious little in this life that I actually have control over but how I react to any given situation is one of the things I actually do control and I choose to be happy about this, I choose to see the inherent good, the positive and I will not dwell on what others might see as the negatives.

I'm not bitter or jealous, I'm not sad that I won't be going into space, I'm happy that Americans are making more steps into the next frontier.

Peace to you and may God Bless you.
