During the 1960’s I was on active duty with our Navy and in the reserves.

The Mid to late 1960’s was when our draft dodgers were flocking to Canada.

My astute mother told me that the draft dodgers and their spawn would be Canada’s problems for decades. We were better off with them as Canadians instead of being Americans.

100% agree. The problem is not they were draft dodgers per se, but that they brought with them a very anti-US liberal mindset.

A math teacher in our school was invited to our history class one day, to talk about Vietnam, and was a draft dodger. I’m sure it wouldn’t surprise you that he had nothing good to say about America.
