Are we really doing this again? Are we really talking about returning to masking? Again?

Last weekend, Los Angeles County reinstituted its mask mandate for indoor settings. More than 60 percent of the county is fully vaccinated, but the mandate applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated people.

The move is absurd in several ways. For starters, it throws shade on the vaccines. If vaccination works, why do the vaccinated need to be masked? And if we do still need to be masked post-vaccine, why would anyone take the jabs? The vaccinated are protected, and the unvaccinated have had enough time to get vaccinated. We have to move on.

Because the vaccine does not prevent the virus. It only prevents the symptoms from becoming worse. People are not complying because our government and their accomplices in the media have been lying to us. Do the research and make your own decision.

So why do we keep returning to ineffective mitigation measures like masking in public spaces? It’s as if we have a mental block around the reality that masking like this is largely pointless.

I'm reminded of a joke ... perhaps the vilest joke I've ever heard, which I can't repeat here, but its punch line goes, "Well, you were doing such a good job that I felt I just had to do something!"

It’s more like the unvaccinated have had enough time to catch covid, and develop a natural immunity which protects them against variants... unlike the vaccinated.

This is what NOBODY is talking about.

The CDC has NO IDEA what percentage of the unvaccinated have already developed natural immunity.

You don’t hear anyone talking about natural antibody tests, or even taking advantage of those who have them.

Masks actually INCREASE your chances of getting sick from the virus because of blood oxygen depletion.

Yes, and we got Bill Clinton instead. The election of the profoundly corrupt and unethical Slick Willie sent this country into a tailspin from which we have never recovered.

The election of Clinton was a step forward for the Left's incremental takeover of this country. Clinton was much worse than Carter. Obama was much worse than Clinton. Biden is much worse than Obama.

I was disappointed with GHWB's "Read My Lips" broken promise, but had enough sense to realize it was best to vote for him in Nov 1992 because of the reprobate he was running against.
