I think they could have an actual 3 ring circus in the hearing room and blow Trump out of a cannon and the media would exclaim how serious and bipartisan and thorough the hearing was.
This isn’t about “investigating” anything. It’s all about having a vehicle with which to rehash all this stuff right before the mid-terms, and again before the 2024 election. It’s creating political campaign material for Democrats, so they can issue reports — timed for maximum political effect — to hurt anyone running who is affiliated in any way with Trump.
Yeah, where are the videos? There’s tons of video and I want to see where this happened.

Democrats want to make it as dramatic as possible, therefore, all of those ‘witnesses’ have been handed committee-written statements, and have been told to act emotionally harmed by the Jan 6 events. It’s an ‘insurrection’, according to the committee, and those witnesses had better call it that, and not just a riot gone bad.
