There is way more to this story them we are being told. Total speculation, I wonder if the killer was in on it and was supposed to scare them while they filmed it. Or maybe he was a stalker assuming they posted about it. Something is obviously odd about the story.

Agreed - I think it has to do with the tik-tok account. Of course it doesn’t help when he probably posted “Just entered the theater to watch the Purge in Corona!”
