The entire situation has been a farce from day 1. The statistics on deaths has been inflated by several times. The statistics on hospitalizations have been inflated by several times. And worst of all are the statistics on "new cases". To top it off experimental vaccines being forced on the public are causing more death and injury than all other vaccines combined since the VAERS program was started over 30 years ago... and they do not work well as the new CDC mask recommendations for the vaccinated demonstrate clearly.
Ok. Although the study was with regards to AstraZeneca, the next question is: the Delta breahtrough occurred in the US, among a population "vaccinated" at 95%. Were they also "vaccinated" with AstraZeneca, J&J, Pfizer, or Moderna? If the latter two, then there is relevance.
An as an aside, I'm old enough to see the same BS regarding the tiptoeing around mentioning a certain community who, through its at risk behaviors, was the primary transmission vector for HIV in the mid to late 1980s.

The CDC claims it is sampling with an internal test, but it’s true there is no purchasable test yet for Delta.

For about two months after vaccination and reopening, I felt I could tell if Covid was present in a building.

As well, it’s clear that even the NYP dismisses basic journalistic integrity - as aptly cited by you, Grampa Dave, myself & others - in ignoring the fact that the CDC is conveying the high risk activities of a fractional demographic upon the whole of the population to measure risk to general health by this relatively benign viral mutation.
It’s a shocking elevation in propaganda pursuant to the nonsensical goal of “100% inoculation” by the experimental jabs when the virus poses a statistical ZERO risk of death to those under 50.
Few are asking “Why?” and the so-called ‘vaxxers’ are exposing themselves as closet progressives who hypocritically support tyrannical actions while professing conservative lip service to ‘fit in’.
