I really love Howie but - the blocks of ads he's been running in recent months - they go ON & ON, for almost 20 minutes.
Plus, he then has the nerve to run ads DURING the Show (he either reads sponsor scripts, or he has sponsors live ON THE SHOW talking with him - on what is supposed to be his actual "show" minutes).
I assume he is "bulking up" on his ad revenue, pre-retirement, as he eyes retirment soon - but it's just not acceptable radio.
I find myself switching to other media (like Real America's Voice) after Howie's first 30 mins. - unfortunately.
I’ve been on the Internet too long (and with SiriusXM in the car). Can’t bear to sit through ads, so wait for podcasts where I can skip them.
I like checking out stewpeters.tv every late afternoon (once he’s got his full show posted, so I can just listen to the interviews I want). I am from Boston and have enjoyed Howie in the past, but he seems like a play-it-safe Establishment guy more than anything now.
