Former president Barack Obama intends to host quite the shindig at Martha’s Vineyard in honor of his 60th birthday.
The birthday bash will reportedly have roughly 700 people present despite fresh concerns over the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant.
Axios reports that the party will be located at the Obamas’ $12-million-dollar home, with 475 confirmed guests (including the likes of Steven Spielberg) in attendance. Another 200-plus people who make up the staff will be on the property.
Pearl Jam is also expected to give a performance, bringing one local hairdresser along with them for styling purposes.
The Axios article continues to report that, while Martha’s Vineyard isn’t listed as an area with a “substantially high” risk of spreading the disease, a recent spike in cases in neighboring Provincetown, Mass. “showed the continued risk of spread even between vaccinated people.”
Local publication, the Vineyard Gazette, recently announced how health officials on the island issued new health safety recommendations (such as social distancing and wearing masks indoors) despite one’s vaccination status.
“If you’re talking about a small party like I might have at my house for six or eight people who are fully vaccinated, I do not believe, at this point, we need to put masks on to be next to each other,” stated director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Francis Collin, to CNN in answer to question unrelated to Obama’s party.
“But if there were 100 people and, of course, how are you really going to be sure about people’s vaccination status?”
The New York Post highlights how the party is expected to be held outside and that there will be a “COVID coordinator” on deck to make sure that everyone’s following safety protocols.
The Hill confirmed that President Joe Biden will not be attending the party.

If there were ever a time to pray for a serious outbreak of some nasty contagion, it would be in that place at that time.

His mother saw to altering his actual birthdate to be replaced with a uniquely devilish one. That one really wouldn’t allow him to be very popular with many people if they knew what she and her three-letter-agency friends and family had cooked up for him.
Although he was several months old by the time, his very tardy birth certificate would eventually announce his signature date to be the 216th day of the year, August 4.

In the Masque Of The Red Death, Vincent Price threw a lavish party while the rabble outside suffered the ravishes of the Red Death. Hopefully all 700 guests have been jabbed and wear a mask. Lord forbid this be a super spreader event among the elite.
According to the story, there has been an outbreak nearby in Provincetown, MA. You can be certain then that Bath-house Barry and his buddy Reggie Love will be super-spreading it all over the guests at this party.
Just a coincidence that Reggie was a big supporter of Booty-Gig 2020?
