President Joe Biden blamed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) on Tuesday for the ongoing rise in coronavirus cases in their states.
“Just two states, Florida and Texas, account for one-third of all new COVID-19 cases in the entire country, just two states,” he said.
Biden was sharply critical of Republican governors who were enacting bans on mask mandates, even for vaccinated Americans.
“I say to these governors, please help. But if you’re not going to help, at least get out of the way of the people that are trying to do the right thing,” he said.
Last Thursday, Abbot issued an executive order prohibiting cities, schools, and state government officials from enacting mask mandates. On Friday, DeSantis also banned schools from mandating masks.
But Biden criticized the governors for making decisions that he described as “bad health policy.”

There’s only one problem with that statment....ITS A LIE!
So the governors of two states, on the advice of their science advisors, mandate no masks, but their the problem? Even though Fauci and the CDC say that masks are useless against the virus?
Meanwhile, a virus with a 99.7% survival rate is being actively avoided across most of the world out of some misplaced fear while Abbot and De Santis are basically forcing exposure for most people to help achieve herd immunity faster.
The mental gymnastics required by the left to even draw breath must be exhausting. Florida and Texas will recover fast and won’t suffer any long term damage to their respective economies while the rest of the country lingers in some control freak hell with sociopath governors locking them down and destroying their economies in due time.
