I believe it was the Ohio court administrator that just announced that they will not abiding by the latest CDC edict, so, yes, the local/state courts can, (and some will), ignore the CDC.

I thought Kavanaugh ruled that unconstitutional acts are AOK as long as they have a time limit. It’s easy to imagine that he’d find unconstitutional extensions to unconstitutional acts are just fine, too, as long as they’re temporary.
