Exactly ... where does the electricity come from? Where do the batteries come from? Who mines for the material, and where, and do the mines comply with all safety, environment and child labor standards?

In other words, climate change seems to be a first-world concern but the third world pays for it in terms of pollution, unsafe and toxic mines, child labor, slave labor ... why should the poor on the other side of the world have to suffer so some of us can feel good about “saving the planet.”

“In other words, climate change seems to be a first-world concern...”

And it’s all hoax.

Nothing but feel goodism, that’s all it is.

with this act the US will be at the mercy of the CCP and the Congo for its batteries and windmills, how nice. Also I heard one of Biden’s sources for oil will be China, who, since they have none, will charge hugely for the transshipment - after they have satisfied their own needs.

Slave labor is no stranger to Democrats.
