Mitch McConnell is reportedly deeply concerned about a Georgia Senate bid from football star and longtime Trump pal Herschel Walker, fearing Walker’s potential campaign would fizzle and hand the seat over to Democrats for six years.
McConnell is said to be considering Loeffler along with David Perdue, per CNN. The former Georgia Republican senator lost his seat to Democrat Jon Ossoff – who won’t have to defend himself until 2026 if he chooses to run again.

This is typical McConnell. He has interfered with several senate races which resulted in the Repub losing because of his meddling and splitting votes. Republican Senators show what they really are be repeatedly reelecting this worse than Rhino as their “leader”.

I had heard Purdue say in January he was not running.

I like Herschel, and I think he would be a positive force in GA. BUT. He has a past with severe mental illness and alleged domestic violence that he doesn't deny because he can't remember what happens when his "alter personalities" are in control. This will all be dragged out and I question his viability as a candidate when that happens.
I'm not a GA voter, so I have no say, but I hope y'all can come together and undo the disaster of last Nov/Jan.
