The British tried, The soviet union tried, The US tried to civilize a bunch of camel humpers.The Soviet Union didn't try to civilize anything. They simply killed everyone they saw. Without U.S. intervention, they probably would have succeeded in depopulating the country. In retrospect, we should have let them.
