People are pretty brainwashed. Then when things hit home and they are hit, their eyes are opened.
So, it’s a process. People will be going down with the country and ChiCom Joe is aiding it. That process is hastening.
Do they hate him enough to help his opponents? To show up and oppose his policies at school board meeting?
I don’t have a lot of faith in people. If they don’t fix the election systems what people want won’t matter.
That, and just how many people resisted the mask? How many resisted the lockdowns? How many resisted the vax?
Too many people still get their views from the evening news. They still don’t have a clue.

but with Newsom, he’s still viable if he survives this recall.
If he survives this recall, and wins reelection in the regularly scheduled 2022 election, he will then be said to have a great political future. If he survives this recall, the fact that he was ever subjected to a recall will be forgotten.
I am puzzled, however, because Newsom is one of those white, heterosexual men. Today’s Democrat party is so big on diversity, that the powers that be may push other “diverse” candidates for future presidential elections rather than someone like Newsom.

Actually I repeated myself there...but I doubt anyone is regretting their vote, just regretting that it didn't turn out the way they fantasized.
They talk that way, but why did they decide to go with the "old, white man" in 2020? Because they know minority and women Presidential candidates are still losers.
The suburban women will love Newsom. They'll think he's just dreamy.
Reminds me of Portland. Yesterday on Lars Larson (Portland talk radio) there was a discussion about Antifa attacking a Christian group and the police did nothing. The guest on the show (a Christian who had been attacked) said he didn’t blame the police but the mayor and council.
The people of Portland knew they were voting for scorpions.

My faith will be restored when we have local control and options for public education in America. It is co trolled my marxists and if you have your children in any public school, don’t care where you live, it IS controlled by the left and your children ARE being indoctrinated .
They have and will co to us to become the future of this nation.
Don’t count on any Democrats coming over.
They are not mentally capable, not mature enough, not discerning enough.
Republicans are going to have to beat them at their own game — harvesting votes.
All they have to do now is pass the Budget Reconciliation bill and all their commie Easter eggs are buried in there. By September it’s over.

While Biden remorse may not be shouted from the house tops, I think it maybe is being murmured in the coffee shops, at dinner tables and in small gatherings. The vehement hatred for Trump is now being offset by a failing economy, the prospect of huge tax increases, the illegal aliens flooding the country unchecked, the confused messages on COVID, a huge surge in crime and increasingly evidence that the man they elected POTUS has advanced dementia that was deliberately hidden during the campaign. Reagan’s mantra…are you better off now?… should be resonating. Even the media is starting to question Biden’s fitness for office and Democratic stalwarts are thinking the unthinkable, President Kamala.
Adding to the remorse maybe a discontent with the direction the country is heading…headlong into a socialist and possibly fascist state. Biden promised unity and moderation, but is utterly incapable of delivering either. Instead the radical left has been unleashed and is pushing CRT in schools and businesses, defunding the police, an economically devastating green new deal and increased government control over everything. It should be obvious to most that there is no prospect of things getting any better or even leveling off.
Will this turn into a landslide for the GOP in 2022 is yet to be seen. The Republicans have their own problems with RINOs like Romney and squishy types who want to get on the government gravy train and gain power in the swamp. Will Trump return in 2024 or just serve as kingmaker is yet to be seen.
