Reminds me of Portland. Yesterday on Lars Larson (Portland talk radio) there was a discussion about Antifa attacking a Christian group and the police did nothing. The guest on the show (a Christian who had been attacked) said he didn’t blame the police but the mayor and council.

The people of Portland knew they were voting for scorpions.
Portland citizens have gone out a marched for their Third World Status. No, it’s the people of Portland.

Agreed. The public schools and the television have succeeded in reducing critical thinking to a hobby for eccentrics. The reaction to covid, with the baseless faith in masks and casual acceptance of experimental jabs, proves the majority of Americans are easily led.

Ditto here. Biden still has his supporters and the left has taken over our culture. The future looks like the US will become part of Latin America with an elite class, a small struggling middle class, and a large class of the ignorant poor who vote for demagogues promising free stuff. We will limp along like those countries do, but the US will no longer resemble the republic it was at its founding.
