PJ Media ^ | Aug. 10, 2021 | Rick Moran

Posted on 08/10/2021 8:29:16 AM PDT by fwdude

A Democratic judge in Travis County, Texas, has issued a temporary restraining order that will prevent the arrest of Texas state legislators who fled the state for Washington, D.C., rather than vote on an election integrity bill. The order will be good for 14 days and can be renewed indefinitely.

Separation of powers means that this piece-of-s*** judge cannot dictate the operations of the Texas Legislature.

Screw him.

But of course! The Democrats who ran off and abandoned their jobs as legislators, were in pursuit of some higher calling. That’s what we are told anyway. They were supposedly preventing Texas from enacting Jim Crow 2.0 type laws. So their allegiance to this higher cause makes them immune to their open violation of the law.

Makes sense to a liberal judge. Not to prejudge, but I have a feeling that the judge in this case is liberal.

“Renae Eze, Abbott’s spokeswoman, said in a statement, “The ruling by the Travis County judge is contrary to the Texas Constitution and violates the separation of powers between the different branches of government.” The statement continued, “We are confident that this overstep will be overturned”

And THERE is the mistake, playing THEIR game.

Just arrest the pizza chits and to he’ll with a liberal judge....what’s he gonna do?

This is an unconstitutional ruling due to separation of powers.

A judge cannot block another Constitutional branch of government from exercising its plenary Constitutional powers.

This should be immediately overturned by the Texas state Supreme Court.

How can a judge make such a proclamation? On what authority?

Democrat judge in a heavily Democrat county, beholden to the Democrat politicians who ran away. Not impartial and this is not unexpected.

Arrest them and let them sue to get out. Force the issue at every turn.

We need to bring that time honored tradition of “Tar & feather, and ride them out of town on a rail”

In the meantime, the illegitimate order should be ignored.

Wow... good thing the CDC just demonstrated that we don’t have to pay attention to court rulings any more!

Lock ‘em up...

That’s an order I would ignore. If I were governor I would meet his plane with the State Police & arrest him myself. The governor is the highest law enforcement authority in the state.

Ignore illegal rulings of dictatorial judges.

No need. Simply ignore it. The judge has no power. What would he do? Stamp his feet?

The Governor has the state police & the national guard. Arrest the judge.
