Remember when youths used to say "question authority"?

Alas, the mantra nowadays seems to be "worship authority."

The poles have switched, especially in music. Top musicians previously mocked politicians, fueled college sit-ins, lamented "four dead in Ohio," and preached against "the man."

Nowadays, top musicians play at inaugurations, fuel students protesting conservative speech, cheer government overreach, and are willingly controlled by "the cisgen."

That’s because those in autority now are the ones who used to question authority. And now they forbid people to question authority...

Back then, when they spoke truth to power, the power was civilized. Now that they are in power, those who speak truth to power are marginalized, canceled, jailed without bail... while the powers that be contribute to bail funds for criminals...

The world is definitely upside-down.

It was never about questioning all authority. It was about questioning (a.k.a. stirring up sh*t) conservative authority i.e. those in charge trying to maintain American values and enforce the law. That was the authority to be hounded, questioned and removed in order to install their authority. Get it? Got it?
