President Biden on Tuesday said he does not regret his decision to pull U.S. forces out of Afghanistan amid reports of rising civilian casualties as the Taliban makes gains in the country.
"We spent over $1 trillion over 20 years. We trained and equipped with modern equipment over 300,000 Afghan forces," Biden said at a news conference. "And Afghan leaders have to come together. We lost thousands, we lost to death and injury, thousands of American personnel. They’ve got to fight for themselves. Fight for their nation."
Biden vowed the U.S. would keep its commitments to provide air support, resupply Afghan forces with food and equipment and paying their salaries.

Should have left 17+ years ago.
Absent a political will to win, this result was inevitable.
As usual, soldiers paid the price while the elite reaped the rewards. Age-old USA story.
We gave Afghanistan aircraft. We gave them helicopters. We gave them artillery. If the Afghans can’t or won’t fight for their own country after all this time, we sure as Hell don’t need to continue to fight for them.
Regret it? He doesn’t even remember it
Joe: “We’re going to pull all of our troops north of the Mason-Dixon line”
Kamala: “That’s the wrong war Mr. President”
Joe: “We’re at war??”
Of course not. None of his friends died there for nothing.
No worries, Joe. Now, we can waste $1 trillion (or more) in one fell swoop with the "infrastructure" bill.
He wants a Biden caliphate bigger than the Obama caliphate under ISIS.
Any way you spin it, Afghanistan and Iraq belong to the Bush family and their neocon ilk. With apologies to Vizzini, we fell victim to one of the classic blunders, one of which is never get involved in a land war in Asia. The US did nothing more than remove Iran's strategic road blocks and waste treasure despite our soldiers valiant efforts.

Yep, he doesn’t regret letting thousands of Covid infected illegals into this country either.
Heck, he doesn’t even regret costing over 11,000 skilled workers their livelihoods when he shut down the Keystone XL pipeline with the stroke of a pen.
I bet he doesn’t even understand why he did these ...
