I flew back to SJU from TPA yesterday as the “PTC” was approaching the island. The day before I had my doubts if I would be able to get back in, which I needed to do urgently after two weeks off island.
But it was a total non-event here. Maybe just a welcome distraction from all the government Covid grandstanding turned into the usual hurricane season grandstanding.
Many thanks for your local report. The NHC held off on naming Fred all day yesterday. Do you plan to fly back to FL before Fred creeps up the Gulf coast?
