Maybe. Maybe not. I would not put it past the leftists and the Deep State to be threatening these judges behind the scenes with serious consequences if they act “too conservative” or even “moderate”.
I’ve often thought that too. All the Swamp would have to do is say to Amy Coney Barrett, “Nice family you got there, it would be a shame if something happened to them.”
