The Pentagon on Tuesday released guidelines for how service members could request a religious exemption in lieu of getting the coronavirus vaccine.

"There is a religious exemption possibility for any mandatory vaccine, and there's a process that we go through to counsel the individual both from a medical and from a command perspective about using a religious exemption," Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said Tuesday.
Kirby said military service members who wish to seek an exemption will be required to be counseled by a medical professional and a commander over the risks posed by not receiving the vaccine.
In addition, they will discuss how the decision could affect their deployability, travel, or even assignments – though the request processes will differ in each branch.
"We take freedom of religion and worship seriously, in the military, it's one of the things that we sign up to defend," Kirby said. "And so it's something that's done very carefully."
Exemptions for pre-existing medical conditions will be permitted as well, though those will be identified by a medical professional.

Will be interesting to see how many lawsuits are filed against government at all levels due to forcing citizens to have something injected into their bodies against their will or be fired.

I didn’t see any religious guidelines... just more threats.
There are other vaccines using proven technologies that have not yet been cleared. There is the Sputnik V vaccine from Russia which uses adenovirus vectors like the Johnson&Johnson vaccine which has been approved. It is authorized by some NATO countries and is more effective than the J&J vaccine.
Then there is the Novovax vaccine which contains the proteinaceous portion of the spike protein, not the encoding RNA. This seems similar to a killed-virus vaccine which has been around forever.
It seems as though the rush to vaccinate is too fast—they should wait until the safest vaccine is flushed through the EUA. Is that too much to ask for people defending our country?
I believe the vaccine is a death shot. Suicide is against my religion. Are we done here?

Like Russian dissidents were declared mentally ill and in need of psychiatric care?
Like they will pit military psyops specialists against those seeking ‘counseling” in order to break them?
Prayers up - our military deserves respect, and not to be treated like live stock.

Once FDA approval is granted in September
Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 (1905) kicks in and the Federal government can and probably will mandate the vaccines for all citizens. That USSC decision affirms forced vaccination as constitutional if one thinks this current Court will take up a challenge to that care they are diluted. ACB just denied hearing a case from the lower courts who cited Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 (1905), as there reason for upholding the University in the lawsuits vaccine mandates. After September refusal will be not an option for the military, Federal workers, and anyone else who does business with those groups or receives money from the Fed’s via grants bank on it. The full citizen mandate comes in November book mark my post I’ll get real money on a November general public mandate. They will by that point have full approval for the Pfizer and Moderna and with the USSC proper blessings full constitutional authority to do so. The gnashing of teeth will flow but I doubt more than a few very public stand offs will happen Waco style with the same outcomes the Fed’s when they want to play hard ball will absolutely bring M1 Abrams tanks to a gunfight the branch covidians learned that in Waco the hard way. Hawaii just arrested fake card holders and by November I expect other states as well with a QR block chain encrypted pass to follow the national mandate they won’t simply let people print cards to think they will is naive. Should the Fed’s mandate is the real question they will have all the legal power they need by September it’s not can they it’s should they because they absolutely can once the FDA rubber stamps the approvals.

You could go that route but your military career is over at that point your record will be flagged as a objector and you will not get good duty posts nor promoted. They even say nearly as much in the press release.

They plan on not letting people take liberty aka vacations, if you are not deployable you are also not promotional material you have to deploy to get time in service time in grade in a combat or forward deployed theater. They also plan to limit assignments they spell it right out. Those who refuse the vaccines are ending their military career. We saw the same thing with anthrax vaccines in the 90s I knew 4 men who refused every one was given a bad conduct discharge nearly immediately. The three I knew who got exemptions never made it past E4 which has mandatory promotion for time in grade from E3 they got specialist only not the noncom corporal rank they were blacklisted from boarding no one would out them up for a board so no Corporal or sergeant was it would be ever available to those guys they all left the service when there current 8 years were up.
Will they be told about the risks of actually TAKING their experimental drug?

Where have you been it’s been discussed at length even here. The military has already said September is the mandatory vaccines for troops they know approvals are coming they wouldn’t mandate it otherwise. Even the administration has publicly said they expect approval by Labor day or soon after and they run the FDA. Like it or not approvals are coming in September.
It’s not going to be approved. It would open the Government up to lawsuits beyond our comprehension. Therefore the most dangerous vaccines in the history of mass vaccination will continue to be emergency authorized.
