The Texas Tribune issued a major correction Thursday after falsely reporting that 5,800 children had been hospitalized with COVID-19 over a seven-day period.
The initial report claimed that a major spike in coronavirus infections had resulted in 5,800 children being hospitalized, but the correction noted that there had actually been 5,800 children hospitalized with COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.

A long time ago (late 1960s) in Graduate School - Engineering; a newspaper published the average GRE scores from some disciplines; Journalism and Education had the lowest. most refuse to take any math. One journalism field required a math course that no other department would count for graduation.
It appears that this has not improved in over 50 years.
